THE ARC TAMPA BAY CVS RETAIL AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM

The mission of The Arc Tampa Bay’s Retail and Customer Service Training Program is to prepare students for a position in the field through a series of dynamic activities, demonstrations, role-plays, and discussions that will allow them to be successful and employed in the area of retail associate, greeter, and more. Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to demonstrate employability skills in areas such as face-to-face interactions, phone etiquette, a variety of communication skills, operating a point-of-sale system, and inventory control.

Curriculum Overview

· Learn customer service skills

· Learn telephone and intercom etiquette

· Learn about labels and inventory control

· Learn about rewards cards and programs

· Learn how to operate a point-of-sale system

· Learn soft skills such as professionalism, teamwork, critical thinking, and communication

· Learn how to search for jobs, apply, and interview.

· Receive on-the-job training once hired
