The Arc Tampa Bay Culinary Institute
"The mission of The Arc Tampa Bay’s Culinary Institute is to stimulate learning and growth that leads to transformation and employability."
Program Overview
Our 16-week program is divided into four (four-week) tiers covering food safety and sanitation, knife skills, and the basic culinary foundations needed to successfully obtain an entry-level position in any food service establishment. While enrolled, students experience different aspects of the food service industry, from inventory to high-volume kitchen production. They also develop a recipe portfolio that is beneficial for use during job interviews.
What Happens After Graduation
Upon graduation, students will receive a certificate of completion and a food safety certification through the SafeStaff® Food Handler Certificate Program, along with cut-resistant work gloves, a chef’s knife case, and an Imarku chef’s knife to kickstart their food service careers.
